Your point of view about the game will make it so.

If you believe golf is difficult, it is.

If you believe the game to be complex, it is.

I believe golf is one of the simplest games of any games to play.  Because it is so simple, it can be a difficult game to learn.

Golf can be very complex at times.  When you begin to dissect your golf stroke to analyze it, many times it is like opening a can of worms and things can get a bit chaotic!  Where do you begin?  What do you change? Why do you change it?  Is it the cause of the poor ball flights or the effect of something else?

When you work with an instructor, they will tend to look at different aspects of your stroke.  It is not only your grip, posture and alignment that matters…it most often is your movement, your sequencing, your balance and rhythm that will make the biggest difference.

The golf stroke is a whole movement, not meant to be broken apart and put back together.  The golf stroke has a beginning and an ending and nothing in the middle!  If you can imagine there is no ball there and then you make your stroke, you will not disrupt your golf stroke by trying to hit the ball.  The ball simply gets in the way!  The best thing you can do for yourself is swing to a balanced finish and hold it!!
