The Tegavah Golf Club has a new name and new brand. As of Monday, September 28th, Tegavah Golf Club was rebranded and renamed as Verde River Golf & Social Club. The course is currently being overseeded and is set to re-open on October 16th.
The Verde River Story
Formerly known as Tegavah and one of the Valley’s best-kept golf secret for a long time, the Verde River Golf & Social club is ready to make a splash with their new name and new attitude.
The new Verde River Golf & Social Club is located in Arizona’s scenic Sonoran Desert surrounded by the beauty of the Tonto National Forest with the Superstition Mountains and the iconic Four Peaks serving as a picturesque backdrop. Located just down the hill from some of Scottsdale’s most iconic clubs – Troon North, Estancia, and others – Verde River is close enough to feel close but just far enough out to capture the rugged natural terrain.
The golf course weaves its way through this one-of-a-kind setting, providing a test of golf that offers strategic challenges as well as aesthetic charm. And it’s soon to undergo a renovation directed by nearby resident and PGA TOUR professional Tom Lehman to update the 10-year-old golf course.
Although a private club by charter and design, the club currently welcomes daily-fee guests, and will do so for about the next three years. Now is the time to come experience the course, as it’s only a matter of time until it’s reserved for just a fortunate few.
