Growing the game of golf…
ONE KID AT A TIME.
Mesa, Ariz. – The Kids Golf Bank – an organization that provides free golf for kids – recently launched a video featuring former PGA TOUR and current Champions Tour player Kirk Triplett. Triplett, an ambassador for the Kids Golf Bank, will display their logo on his golf bag for upcoming Champions Tour events.
“All children should have the opportunity to play and learn through the game of golf,” said Triplett. “While this program positively impacts kids today, it also helps the next generation of adult golfers start out on the right foot.”
The program works as follows: donations may be made through the Kids Golf Bank website (www.kidsgolfbank.com) in the form of practice sessions, lessons, or rounds of golf at a partnering course of the donor’s choosing. When donations are made, funds go to a local junior golf association, such as The First Tee of Phoenix, which present a voucher to their students that can be redeemed at the participating course. Donors can also choose to give block amounts directly to the Kids Golf Bank or purchase an annual membership to The First Tee of Phoenix. One hundred percent of all donations goes directly to the kids.
To date, seven courses have partnered with the Kids Golf Bank including Biltmore Golf Club, Augusta Ranch Golf Club, Bear Creek, Coldwater Golf Club, Legacy Golf club, Wigwam Golf Club and Lone Tree Golf Club.
