The PGA of America is the world’s largest working sports organization, comprised of 28,000 men and women golf Professionals, who are the recognized experts in growing, teaching, and managing the game of golf. They serve millions of people throughout its 41 PGA Sections nationwide, which provide a grass root network necessary to accomplish direct communications with the nation’s 25 million amateur golfers and its members.

Since its founding in 1916, The PGA of America has enhanced its leadership position by growing the game of golf through its premier spectator events, world-class education and training programs, significant philanthropic outreach initiatives, and award-winning golf promotions.

PGA -Southwest Section

The Southwest Section PGA is a not-for-profit organization comprised of a membership of approximately 1,400 golf professionals and apprentices involved in the operations of almost 400 golf facilities in Arizona and Nevada. The Section is ranked as the 5th largest of the PGA Sections. The Southern Chapter PGA is a chapter of the Southwest Section with 150 members and apprentices. We are the local delivery system for the PGA of America programs and activities to promote the game of golf in this region and to enhance the skills of its members.

The PGA Southwest Section – Southern Chapter is based in Tucson, Arizona and services the PGA Southwest Section for all of southern Arizona.  Rick Price, PGA is the Director of Operations for the Southern Chapter
