The Junior Achievement Open (JAO) has gained recognition as one of Tucson’s premier charity golf events, raising over $700,000 since launching in 2005. Now in its 8th year, the event is bringing new opportunities for engagement to its participants
and sponsors. Participation in the 2012 JAO will provide JA’s life-changing programs to over 5,000 disadvantaged youth, representing one-third of the total Tucson-area students served.
Junior Achievement has been invited by the private Stone Canyon Club to return to their beautiful facility, a marvel of desert course design and engineering with arresting panoramas from every tee, fairway and green. Stone Canyon features truly spectacular views that wind through a forest of heritage Saguaro cacti, giant boulder outcroppings and plunging waterfalls. The 18-hole course provides a captivating golf experience where each and every stroke is accompanied by a breathtaking view of the majestic Catalina and Tortolita Mountains.
Sponsorship packages are a unique opportunity to entertain top clients, recognize outstanding contributors or high-performing employees. Packages ranging from $300 to $5,500 are available and Gold ($3,500) and Silver ($1,800) sponsorships are a great opportunity to enhance a business’s community visibility through rich media coverage and event networking with top business executives and company leaders.
